As a visual artist, I choose mediums fluidly based on what materials grab me and feel best in telling a particular story. Fashion, textile manipulation, and inclusion of non-clothing-assigned materials is quickly becoming a favorite medium, blending art and theatre work in a satisfying new process. While I have no brand or desire to begin one, since the experience of Psychedelic Garden, I’ve been steadily developing this play and experimentation in a more fashion-centric mindset, focused first on creating beautiful garments, then allowing them to say more with the addition of conceptual wearable props.
