Fellow contemporary art advocates helped us welcome our new Director and Curator of GOCA, Joy Armstrong, Ph.D. and were among the first to discover the exciting future unfolding under their visionary leadership!
The evening was a chance to celebrate Dr. Armstrong, a dynamic arts professional with passion for pushing creative boundaries and fostering a vibrant arts community. We also awarded the Bill Burgess Award for Excellence in Contemporary Art to artist Martha Russo, who made an extraordinary impact on GOCA in 2023.
