The Galleries of Contemporary Art are excited to present a one-night fashion event at the Ent Center for the Arts in Colorado Springs on Friday, February 28, 2025! GOCA is seeking submissions from Colorado-based fashion designers, organizations, artists, collectives, and/or groups to present mini-collections at the event. Ten designers will be chosen to participate in the event to showcase their work and all participating designers will receive a small stipend to help bring their collections to life.  

Selected designers will present an approximately 8–10-piece mini collection. One piece from the collection must be a wearable art piece (i.e., Avant Garde, over the top). None of the presented pieces need to be ready-to-wear but can be if you choose. The theme for the event is "psychedelic garden." Applications aligning with themes of botanical, garden, surreal, psychedelic, and related topics will be considered. No prior fashion experience is required to submit to this open call; however, applicants must be able to provide examples of artworks/techniques related to their proposed idea. It is FREE for applicants to submit to this open call. Submissions are due by midnight on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
