My vision for this collection is not only the cosmos, but it’s effects on nature and how it brings about change and transformation. 9 garments will tell a story of transitioning from darkness into light, one garment leading into the next, with several having the ability to transform into another look mid runway. The collection opens with a “black bird” in an ominous floor length feather cape that will be cast off to reveal a beautiful gold “Phoenix” dress setting the tone for transformation. A veiled, deep blue ballgown glittering with all the stars in the galaxy floats past, followed by a dress decorated with the moon and stars. Then a fragmented, mirrored dress shines with the sparkle of moonlight on water, bringing us to a pale blue liquid satin gown that glows with the warmth of morning light. A dark green velvet gown follows and with one motion, blooms into a flower. A set of twin flower girls in liquid statin slip dresses in lilac and palest pink lead us to the finale: a liquid satin gown with a long net train studded with pearls, along with a head dress of real white roses. Keeping with the theme of transforming from dark to light, our unusual bride carries a beautiful bouquet of roses and lilies with a large glowing white orb nestled gently in the center, bringing us light and the promise of a new day and beginning.
