Sublime/Divine

From the earth, to the sky, and then beyond, Sublime/Divine leads us through the interconnectivity of the cosmos. A Phoenix starts our journey, springing forth from the darkness bringing light. Light and water bring the flowers and life. Then night comes and brings its blanket of stars along with a rare blood moon. Traveling above the sky, then past the moon, we get an up close look at a star within its galaxy. Then continuing on once more, we finally reach the dark expanse of the universe itself. Encrusted in gems and pearls, and veiled in mystery, this collection enchants the eye and evokes the wonders and beauty of the universe.

ABOUT AARON GRAVES

Aaron Graves is a multidisciplinary artist living in Colorado Springs, Colorado. A graduate of The University of Colorado Colorado Springs, Graves utilizes photography, fashion design, and installation art to explore themes of identity and beauty, all with a touch of surrealism. Since 2003 he has been featured in multiple galleries including UCCS Galleries Of Contemporary Arts, The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center At Colorado College, Praxis Gallery Minneapolis, and Bernstein Display in New York City.
